Big News!

Hola friends and fam!! as im sure most of you have heard, a sister passed away in my mission last week from an E Coli infection that took her into cardiac arrest. Although it was probably her time to go, it was tragic and made the church really cautious about what missionaries they want to send to such a remote part of south america. sooo as many of you are aware, I had two cardiac procedures when I was younger and have had a couple small irregular heart symptoms along the way. I was cleared by a cardiologist to serve anywhere, however the medical department for the church feels better about me staying in the United States for at least a couple months. That being said, I am reassigned to serve in the CALIFORNIA SAN DIEGO mission. I received the new call this morning and will be flying to california on tuesday. I was told that I will have the option to be reconsidered for Argentina in a couple months but for now I am excited to serve in my new mission!! San Diego is a beautiful place with many spanish speakers also so I can't wait to get out there.
I want everyone to know that I am healthy and even though this wasn't what I was planning to happen in the MTC, I couldn't be more excited because I know that this is God's plan for me and I am willing to serve where ever he calls me.There are so many unexpected things about life but through Jesus Christ there is always peace and always joy. So everyone keep the faith and know that God is mindful always.
I love you all and am praying for you!!
xoxo Hermana Koelliker
